You Should Know is sexual health information for women in midlife and beyond who are looking for safer sex and HIV prevention information. It’s dedicated to all women wanting to be in the know, but we’d like in particular to thank the women who’ve sidled up to our information tables or called us as they launched into dating in their forties Blogger with beloved coffeefollowingdivorces and break-ups.

Site material for You Should Know is written by Janet Madsen, forty-something Communications Coordinator at Positive Women’s Network. I’ve been working in HIV/ sexual health education for over fifteen years. I have two kids, am an avid reader, and a runner. And I love mornings: as far as I’m concerned, that first sip of coffee is sublime.

You Should Know is a program of Positive Women’s Network, a non-profit organization in British Columbia, Canada focussing on women, HIV and sexual health. Information is reviewed by health care and social service professionals as needed, but do see our our Disclaimer for Terms of Use.
